Show your reviews in your visitors' language

September 2, 2026

Reviews arrive in whatever language the customer happened to be speaking. Your website is usually in one language. Until now those two facts pulled against each other.

You can now set a language on any widget that shows review text, and Repuso translates every review into it.

The problem this solves

Take a walking tour company in Rome. Seventy-two Google reviews, most of them written in Italian by Italian visitors. The website is in English, because the people booking the tours are flying in from London, Chicago and Sydney.

Every one of those reviews is social proof the business earned. On an English page, most of them are a wall of text a visitor skips.

That business is not unusual. Hotels, tour operators, restaurants, clinics, ecommerce stores shipping across a continent - anyone selling across a language border collects reviews they cannot fully use.

How it works

Open a widget, find Translate reviews to, pick a language. Save.

That is the whole setup. From then on:

  • Every review in the widget is displayed in the language you picked.
  • New reviews are translated as they come in, so the widget never has a mix.
  • The AI summary at the top of the widget is written in that language too.
  • Your reviews are never altered on Google, Facebook, TripAdvisor or anywhere else. Only what the widget displays is translated.

Because it is set per widget, you can run one page per market off the same reviews: your English page shows them in English, your German page shows the same reviews in German.

Reviews and the summary, in one language

Widgets that show an AI summary have their own language setting, which defaults to matching your reviews. Set both and the whole widget - the summary and every review under it - reads as though it were written for the visitor in front of it.

Where it applies

Review translation can be switched on per sub-account, so agencies can enable it for the clients who need it and leave it off for the ones who do not.

It applies to widgets that display review text. Image badges and email signatures do not show review text, so they are unaffected.

See the plans or open any widget in your dashboard and look for Translate reviews to.
